Snow Kiting

Hey Guys and Girls

I am new to the forum, my name is Tom Blackburn. You might have seen me kiting or trying to a few times at the PUC dock or at the sandbanks, I have the yellow airush lift.

I am a pretty new to kiteboarding it is my first year. I'm still pretty shaky on the water but I've been out on the snow a couple times at fort henry and LOVE it.

However it is a little small, I run out of room really quickly. I was hoping maybe I could join you guys on a trip to lake camden or any other spots. I am a student and have no car but would greatly appreciate a ride out there.

I certainly would not mind helping out with gas money or providing some food/snacks/beer for the day.

My cell number is 613 - 484- 9604 however I have no bars in the lab so your best bet is to reach me via email.

Thomas.blackburn@chem.queensu.ca

Thanks

Tom

Re: Snow Kiting

Just got back from NS. Does anyone know if Camden lake is good to go? Tomorrow looks nice and windy, the weekend not bad.

With the cold temps I would think that West and East lake in Prince Edward County are nicely frozen over. I will probably try there tomorrow.

Greg from Belleville.

Camden lake will be epic! I'll be hitting Elevator bay this afternoon, I think!. Should be quite good there and less driving.

If the weather network is right, tomorrow could be the last good day for a while, nothing but high temps and rain starting sunday.
I'd be up for a drive to camden lake if others are going.

Tom: i could give you a ride. I'd be thinking heading up in the morning and back early afternoon. I'm new to this sport too and still figuring out how all this stuff works.

Change of plans, bri and I have to do some lessons this afternoon, and will be up at Camden Lake. I just spoke to J.C. and he was telling me the edges of elevator bay are still pretty mushy, like step through kinda mushy. So if you go, be careful!!

Must of just missed your message. Decided to kite Bay of Quinte. Two others out. Excellent wind, 90% snow covered. Would be willing to drive to Camden lake tomorrow for that last 10%! Post if anyone is going tomorrow.
