Kite quiver in/for Ontario

Hey guys – I’m looking for an advice here… Or perhaps someone may have done/experienced it already emoticon

I am an intermediate kiter and in the process of upgrading my (Cabrinha) kites. I currently have 9, 12 & 14 m kites. My weight’s about 180 lbs. So I was just wondering whether I can get away with just having two kites in Ontario… Tell me your experience with it or just share your thoughts on it.

Most used kiting spots: Georgian Bay, Lake Simcoe, Lake Ontario.

Possible quiver: 10 & 14 metre kites…

Thanks in advance,

Alec.

Ps - Some useful info that I was able to find re this topic:

I'm your weight and close to your experience level. I kiteboard Kingston, Sand banks, and for a week or 2 every spring, Hatteras. I really enjoy my 9M and my 12M but would miss to many sessions if I didn't have a 14M. If I can learn some proficiency on a directional I could lose the 14.I have to use a 7M maybe 4 or 5 times a year and that's more fun then the 14 but my fav is the 9M. I'm retired so I mostly can get out when its blowing but I still don't get my fill even with the 7 and 14M crammed into the car.

Thanks GGC!
What are your kites? I am thinking of testing out Epics - reviews seem to be good.

My 9M is a RRD Obsession. It works the same as the 9M Waroo I used for 3 years. The 12 is a Naish Torch; a C kite. It turns as fast as the 9. I still have a 2005 12M Cabrinha? Nitro that feels the same as the 2010 Torch to me. My 7 is an older Airush Flow. sort of a delta. they all drift well and relaunch easily. the 14M is one of those sigma Naish things. It doesn't drift and loads up with water if down. Probably the same as all big kites.
I've never had a chance to demo a kite before buying; that would be nice.
