Re: Snow kiting

Does anyone know what the ice status is at Camden Lake or Westport? We're supposed to be getting a bunch of snow and wind in the next few days!

I just came in off the lake in Westport. Ice is perfect - trucks driving on all the lakes around here. Come on snow! The skates have been fun and fast with a 4.9 Flexifoil Blade but I'd like to get out on the skis in some nice powder for a change!

13" of powder and counting! If the forecasted north wind continues into tomorrow it should be great on the Upper Rideau... blowing straight onshore into Westport Harbour. That's where you'll find me. No worries about the ice, there was a Zamboni out on it for 'Skate the Lake' in Portland.

So how was kiting this weekend? Lake Ontario is shaping up here in Kingston as long as we don't get too much warm this week.
