hey Ken,
i haven't been in the water for a few weeks. What's your assessment of the temperature for someone who spends most of the time in the water, rather than skimming nicely above it ?
Still ok with a 3mm suit, boots and gloves, or hopelessly cold ?

IMHO i think a 3mm is pretty thin for these temps. I was in last Wednesday at Sandbanks and felt quite comfy, but then again I have a 5/4/3mm suit and carry quite a bit of natural insulation aswell. Sounds to me like you would be cold. It's more the air temperature right now that get's you, rather than the water temp. At least it does for me. I had said that I was done for the season, but I still want some more. And it'd be fun to hit one sesh in December just for giggles.
Hopefully someone else will take the plunge with me on Sunday, I hate to ride alone.

It was an epic wednesday sesh wasn't it. Well if the weather predictions hold true, I'm in. I'm trying to convince Jeff to come too. Haven't talked to Brent yet. But if it all fails and you have room, I might have to try and catch a ride with ya. Or I'll just steal a car from someone. There's always a way. I'll touch base with you Saturday night.

I'm still willing to try, as long as Sunday's forcast holds out. But I must admitt waking up this morning and looking out the window has got me eyeing my snowboard.

Kenny still thinking landboard for sun you interested, Im out for the night leave me a message if you are still game. Went to the island today and touched the water not very inviting to say the least but the landboard might be fun
