Race board build
I just installed the fin boxes. The fronts are canted 4deg which is supposed to improve control at the expense of performance. I never rode one of these tanks so it is R/D for me

Re: Race board build
The fins I have there are old windsurfing blades I had stashed away. They look pretty similar to what the current kite-race fins are. They might be a bit stiff though as they have uni carbon and not just standard G10 which has a nice flex.

Re: Race board build
It will be scary I think. Brian said he fears his fins too.

Re: Race board build
Looking great Stan! KISS is the way to go. Mine is flat bottom/squared off tail like yours and seems to work fine. I like the look of 3 fins instead of four. Again, the simplier the better. Maybe just two fins someday and no cant at all??
I have a golf match early Sat morning so can come over in the afternoon or anytime Sunday. Just might have to finally visit da Island. Maybe I can kitesurf over and Ken can drive me back

Re: Race board build
Not a bad plan. What windspeed can you go on yours? Lets use the kbk windialer as the reference?
Sanded and filled deck today. Later fill bottom and sand some more.
