Getting into it.


So, for arguments sake, do you think it is possible for a newbie to get into the sport, with used kit, in reasonable condition, for $1000? Say, 1 board with 2 kites (~9 & ~12) with bar(s)? Or is that dreaming, or you'd end up with crap? What would it take?

Incidentally, might be looking for:
- a used beginner-intermediate board
- ~9m kite w bar
- ~12m kite w bar

Got anything suitable?
