Sandbanks Sunday May 30

12 knots out of the west and 22 degrees according to wind guru.Might be some thermal boost guru doesn't know about. If the prediction is still the same Sunday A.M. I'd gofor it. But I need a ride! I'll buy the gas and beer.

Hi Grant, just got your message now.
I'll look at the wind tomorrow morning and decide - it would have to be a morning shot for me. Call me anytime after 8:00.

How are things looking for Sandbanks today? The forecast i am looking at seems a little light. Anyone see something different. I need to get out for a first this year!

the only forecast that calls for anything is the iKitesurf meteorologist calling for a possibility of 12 to 16 knots later this afternoon at Sandbanks. Every other forecast calls for single digits.

Too much of a long shot for me to run out there. If you guys go, good luck !

I just came back from Sandbanks and there was very little wind. Not enough.

Rode for 3 hours solid from 12-3 nicely powered on the flysurfer 19 and 132x40cm normal board. Got some decent jumps surprising for 10knots or less. The windmills were no better than 5sec/rev which I cannot make work on my 12 and door.

Looks like there may have been enough at puc, no?
