Re: Sandbanks Sept 18
Looking a little lighter now, but that was called for, still thinking it will pick up in a bit. I'm leaving soon as well.
I'm thinking the outlet for a bit, but the winds may be better on the north side. Look for my VW white golf.

Re: Sandbanks Sept 18
How was picton? I rode for a bit on WI but it was really terrible gusty. Noty enough enough east in to get some fetch.

Re: Sandbanks Sept 18
Had a fun off/on session there. As predicted it dropped for a bid mid afternoon and then kicked up. Great just to get out and I had a blast mixing it up between surf and wake boards. Easy to switch at that launch. Think everyone pretty much went home happy.
It's never as clean a wind as you would like in there, but its really better than sittin on the beach. Besides, its pretty flat in there. Oh yeah, we rode at Dunes beach on west lake as there was a touch of east in it. A tiny bit offshore on the big lake.

Re: Sandbanks Sept 18
Good times at the inner lake. Mike B and I sailed till the sun passed under the dunes.
