new to kingston

Hey,

So i just moved to kingston(going to queens). Whats the kiting scene like here. Wind? Where? Sizes? I didnt bring my gear with me, and just wanted to check it out before shipping it. Anyone want to get together for coffee/meet at the docks?

Re: new to kingston

welcome to Kingston,
There's loads of great info on locations etc on the kiteboardingkingston.com site, check the 'Rider Info' pages.

We tend to need SW winds to use the local launch, these days it seems we're lucky to get 15 knots, so bring your low wind gear. If we get 20knots, the locals come out in force.

there might be a breeze this afternoon, if it fires it would be a good time to get out to the docks and connect with some other kiters.
cheers,
mike
