Sunday Morning

I'll be down at the dock early tmrw to try to catch the session. It looks like it will be a cold one.

Re: Sunday Morning

I think I will stick to the PUC dock unless a bunch of people are heading down to Sandbanks.

I'm heading down to the PUC pretty soon.

Re: Sunday Morning

Just did a spot check at the PUC....

Its too west right now, but rideable if your ok with staying far out, calm right at the shoreline.

It's also !@#$ cold out there...

Re: Sunday Morning

I got there pretty early and rode a 10m powered then rigged an 8m. 4-5 others out mostly on 9m kites. Sunny, windy, wavy and chilly. It warmed up enough to get away without booties or gloves for my last half hour on the 8. I got my fill and left just before 2 pm. Looked like it blew until sunset tho.

If there is north in it. Picton is usually the call.

Anyone get out here?

Re: Sunday Morning

i got in maybe 45 minutes pretty juiced up on a 13m in the afternoon (maybe 21 knots or so). Then the wind started acting really sketchy, and turned north. I b-lined for shore to wait see what it was going to do, and it died off. If you check out the ikitesurf wind graph for Sunday, see how gusty it went at 4:00 - pretty funny. Gusting to 35mph, lulls at 5mph.
