Yep - got out at 5pm for 40min...........Luke joined in the fun but the winds where tapering off before the rain came. Heaven forbid kiting in the rain - with a dry suit.
BTW the 140 inch has nice pop.

140 inch? You sure that's not an old windsurfer?

Re: Any reports from the waterfront Fri?
well, 2:45 to 4:00 was awesome riding. Then, the wind gods decided that we were just having too much fun. Check out the drop at 4:00 in the iKitesurf graph for today. The wind died, shifted offshore, kite dropped, and nothing says fun like winding up your lines and a 40 minute kick to shore in 42deg water.
Thanks to John and Co. for helping me at landfall. Really appreciate it, I don't think i've ever been so happy to be on shore......
The swim out to retrieve my board was the icing on the cake of my afternoon !

Re: Any reports from the waterfront Fri?
Hey Mike, Glad to hear you got back in okay.
I too was in a wetsuit and it was very compelled to make it to shore quickly.
Wrapping up your lines in the water is a real pain in the ass.
When I do wrap up my lines, I usually my clip bar via the safety and chicken loop to my board. This keeps my board close so I don’t lose it.
Hope to see you back out there.
