setting the record straight

Hey folks,

Just got a weird call from a windsurfing friend, asking if I was okay, after my big kiting incident (huh?) I was trying my first launch with bindings a few weeks ago, I had a moment of stupidity and managed to get dragged about six feet off the puc and into the water. I have a 1/2" ding in my board and a scab on my ankle. That's what happend. The rumour mill has it more like this.....I was riding to close to the puc dock, got dragged into,up, and over the dock, then back into the water on the other side, breaking my board into splinters, and apparently numerous bones as well. Since we at kiteboarding kingston really stress safe kiting, I really wanted to dispell this myth before it got too far. Maybe I'm worried for nothing, but just the same, if you here any chatter about this please set them straight.

Thanks all, and sorry to bug everyone with this.

I saw this incident 1st hand. This really could have happened to anyone, and was handled by Ken very safely and professionally.
